  • Best install order for rollups

I have Exchange 2007 SP1 rollup 9 waiting to install on 4 servers:
2 with Mailbox and other roles on them (real Exchange servers)
    2 with Admin Tools only

Are there any issues with letting the admin tools get ahead of the main servers -- in the past I have done them all at the same time but I have lost my window for reboots until next month -- and I'm getting fed up of seeing "updates waiting to be installed" all the time

The simple rule is that the mailbox servers should always be the same or OLDER than everything else. Machines with anything else it doesn't really matter.
