  • Setup Server 2008 & Exchange 2007 using two servers

Everyone talks about pre reqs for setting Exchange 2007. But if you are setting up a DC on one Server 2008 box and Exchange on another Server 2008 box (not a DC but in the domain), where do need to put all the pre reqs. for Exchange? I am a SBS 2003 person and always used one server. Which roles and features do I need on each server?

    Thanks

They go on the Exchange 2007 box. The DC is just used to Prepare the Domain for Exchange 2007, which the setup disk will do during installation anyway, providing you just have the 1 domain. You also need to ensure the account running the Exchange install is a member of Enterprise Admins and Schema admins.
