  • CAS role HA & Site resilience

    Friends,

I have 2 CAS servers installed in two different locations under the same AD site. I am planning to have 2 MX records for link resilience pointing to each CAS server at their respective locations. How can i access my OWA from internet with the same url https://mail.mydoamin.com/owa even in case of link failure at my primary site? I Can provide you with more details if required.

    Thanks in advance

You would have to implement a round robin on your public DNS A records.

As far as I know Site Resilience is for mailbox role. For CAS it's NLB.
      Thanks & Regards

Re: CAS role HA & Site resilience

You need not require to publish both CAS servers to the internet since they are in same AD site. Go for 2 node windows or F5 NLB it should take care of the high availblity of your CAS server.
