  • OWA internal and external

    Hi All

i need to allow clients over branches to use OWA instead of outlook (bandwidth optimization),

if i enable OWA for user x, so he can use owa internal and external company,(our OWA is published).
While he may be prohibits from suing owa outside company (company policy).

    Can i control that?
Say that users can user owa internal, but some of them can use it external company.

For your scenario best bet would be ISA 2006..

      thanks DKS
but how can i do that?

ISA rule allow OWA from external to Everyone

so isa will require to authenticate user before take action
if i replace everyone with agroup of users, i think that owa will not browse to any one as everyone is n't member of that group.

Yes you need to create a Group in AD and add that group in ISA rule for OWA access externally.

For internal owa access i would not recommend you to go via ISA server. It's Bad a design. Internal users should hit the Exchange server directly.
