  • sbs2008 Certificate in Phone

    Hey , cant i just install the self server certificate in the phone? isint there any other way ? DO i really have to buy a Third Party Certificate for This ? When i Put the https://remote.domain.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync it gives an answer that i dont have permitions to do that, is that what's suppose to do ?

    The self generated certificate is not supported for use with Exchange ActiveSync or Outlook Anywhere. Therefore the best option is to use a commercial certificate. I have instructions here:

      It's always good to have 3rd party certificate on the exchange server but if you dont want that then in that case you can generate a internal certificate using the certificate service. if you want me to upload the steps for it let me know
