  • Hiding GAL and address lists

I have a school that I look after and the mandate has come from on high that students are to get mailboxes on the Exchange server BUT they should not be able to see Staff names or email addresses in Outlook or OWA.
I have had a look around and found http://www.msexchange.org/articles_t...007-part1.html
But when I change the addressbookRoot in ADSI no one can see any address book at all.
    Is there a simpler way?

    No.
There is no simple way to do what you want to do. You need to through either that article or the Microsoft white paper: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb936719.aspx

      Thanks Simon,
I found this and it worked a treat, changing the msExchBaseDN and allowing students access only to OWA is the way that I went forward with this
