We have a single domain Exchange Server 2007 and use Exchange as a relay to send e-mails to internal and external users.
Here's my problem: when I send an e-mail from the business system using an address such as [email protected] to an internal user [email protected] the e-mail is never delivered and somehow disappears. When I change the e-mail address to [email protected] or [email protected] the message is delivered. Why? How to correct that?
Is this an Exchange configuration problem or is it a DNS problem?

mail.domain.us A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
domain.us MX mail.domain.us 10
Would the above DNS setup solve the problem?
