  • Off Domain Clients Fail to Connect to Exchange 2007

I am stuck trying to get the Autodiscover feature to work with computers outside of the network and not joined to the domain. It does however work insided the network that are joined to the domain.

When trying the autodiscover in Outlook 2007 it gets to the last step and then says that the Exchange Server Must Be Online Or Connected To The Network.

I have ran the https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ and everthing passes except for "Outlook Anywhere with autodiscover" & "Outlook 2003 RPC/HTTP.

I am not sure where to start for troubleshooting. Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Re: Autodiscover (Exchange Server Must Be Online Or Connected To The Network)

Considering that Outlook Anywhere is how off site clients connect to Exchange without a VPN, the fact that it fails on those tests would seem to be fairly self explanatory. You need it to pass.

What does it fail on? Have you enabled Outlook Anywhere?

I am also going to change the question title.
