  • Simplifying the OWA url

I've been looking at simplifying our OWA URL.

I've located this article which tells me the correct process:

So, what I am wanting to do is to redirect http://<OWA URL> to HTTPS://<OWA URL>

According to the article all I need to do is put the entire URL in HTTP Redirect box, apply and restart IIS.

I've done this. When I restart IIS I still cannot use the correct URL and I get the following message:

    Directory Listing Denied

This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

Per MS instructions I've removed the redirect from all of the physical and virtual directories.

    Where am I going wrong?

PS. HTTPS works fine. I don't have a problem with that personally - I just want to simplify the address for my users.

Please ignore this thread. It was a firewall port map that was causing the bother!
