  • Creating new dynamic ditribution list in Exchange 2007

    Hi All,

    I need to create a new dynamic ditribution list that finds ALL users based within a specific OU

    e.g.
    OU=London
    - OU Finance
    - OU Operations
    - OU Marketing

    OU=Manchester
    - OU Finance
    - OU Operations
    - OU Marketing

    I want a ditrbution group that finds all people in the finance OUs for ALL reginal offices?

    Can anyone help with the required powershell?

    Regards

    I am not aware that you can create distribution groups based on the OU.
    Personally I don't bother with dynamic groups. Once static groups are setup correctly they are much easier to administrate. I designed a static group system that supports over 30,000 users, when a user is created they only have to be added to one group and they are a member of everything else that they need.

      When ever I have wanted to base policies on members of a particular OU, I have tended to use a group for each OU. There may be an easier way.

      Not sure regarding your question.
