  • Setting up 2nd domain on Exchange 2007

When i setup Exchange 2007 originally, we have our main mailbox which uses a POP3 connector to download mail from our ISP onto the exchange box whcih then distributes it. I now wish to add a new domain, but this one has the MX record pointing directly to our server. I have added the domain as an accepted domain and added an email address policy for the new domain. However all external mails are getting rejected saying "User unknown in local recipient table". Mails sent internally on exchange are working fine...

    Any clues please?

That isn't an Exchange error. Therefore the email is being rejected elsewhere.
It could be a firewall, or a third party tool on the server, but it isn't Exchange. You need to ensure that the MX records were updated correctly and are pointing at the correct IP address.
