  • Members can't send to a distributiongroup

    I deployed a SBS2008 server, and everything seems to run perfect, except a minor issue.

    I created a distribution group, called [email protected], this is a organisation-wide "main-email", that all users are member of.

    The internal users gets an error, when they are sending to this account. I can send mail to same account from an external mail-domain.

    In the distribution group, under Mail Flow Settings > Delivery restriction, i've setup "Accept messages from all senders" and "reject messages from no senders"

    Any clues?

    When they try to send, the get a NDR; (Sorry, some of it is in Danish)
    The original domainname is edited to domain.

      Well, the problem was not completely solved.

      One client failed.

      When I joined their computeres to the new domain, i moved the outlook.nk2 file, which most of you probably know, contains the list of mailadresses you have used earlier.

      All other clients sends to [email protected], works fine.
      The only client that was failing, sends to Info from the GAL, probably on the retired server. I don't know how Outlook resolves "Info", but for some reason Outlook did remember something from the old server.

      I deleted Info from the list on the client pc, and now it resolves Info fine

      I hope other people can use it.
