I know this has been beaten to death, but here I am...

Externally with using Outlook Anywhere and testing the Autoconfig I am confused as to why Autodiscover tries to connect to https://DOMAIN/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml when I specify mail.DOMAIN in the Outlook Anywhere settings.

Also at this point in time Outlook 07 clients can Send/Recieve email using Outlook Anywhere but when they try to set their OOA they get a message saying "The Server is unavilable".

    Thanks for the input!

autodiscover.DOMAIN responds internally, but not externally does it need to?

    Re: autodiscover issues

Autodiscover does need to work externally.
It should resolve to the same IP address as your OWA server and you should have autodiscover.example.com in the SAN certificate as well.

The Microsoft testing tool https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com may also show you where there are problems.

One of the error codes is cannot find, the other is a certificate error. So everything isn't quite right.

    Simon.
