  • Get-MailboxStatistics syntax question

    Hello Everyone!
First of all, please let me know start off by saying thanks in advance for any support you can offer.

I am need to export out statistics on my mailboxes to see what users have the largest of mailboxes. I have a command that works now, however I am trying to get it to pull additional information from Active Directory. The command that I have that works is:

    Code:
    Get-MailboxStatistics -Database “EXCH\Database1” | Select DisplayName, LastLoggedOnUserAccount, ItemCount, TotalItemSize | Export-CSV c:\Database1.csv
I am wanting to also export out the following fields from AD into the CSV:

    Department
    physicalDeliveryOfficeName

I tried the following but it did not pull the information:

    Code:
    Get-MailboxStatistics -Database “EXCH\Database1” | Select DisplayName, LastLoggedOnUserAccount, ItemCount, TotalItemSize, Department, physicalDeliveryOfficeName | Export-CSV c:\Database1.csv
I am fairly new to the powershell stuff so please forgive my ignorance. I greatly appreciate any help you can offer.

    Thanks!

    Re: Get-MailboxStatistics syntax question

The simple thing to do first is a display of a single person with the |fl switch. That will show you every value that you can export.

The values you have asked for are not exposed to Get-MailboxStatistics on my server, so you will be unable to get them.
