  • Exchange sp1 rollup 5 gives me a blank owa logon page

Title says it.... rollup5 for sp1 gives us a blank owa logon screen...

anyone know a way to fix this other than what is described at the bottom of this thread?

    http://forums.petri.com/showthread.php?t=24576

    Uninstall IIS
    Reinstall IIS
    Uninstall CAS
    Reinstall CAS
    Reregister OWA in IIS

    edit:

going over this a little more, won't rollup 5 need to be reapplied after all of this? wont that rebreak like it did the first time? wont this make my SSL cert need to be re-applied?

Rollup 5 doesn't break OWA in the main. I have now deployed it on a dozen or more servers, including two brand new installations today without any issues. Therefore rollup 5 or is successors will have to be applied at some point in the future.

The SSL certificates are stored in Exchange, therefore if you were to remove CAS and IIS and reinstall them, then the certificate simply needs to be enabled for IIS etc again using the Shell.

Had the login screen been customised at all? If you turn off FBA, what happens then?

I had exact same issue. My rollup failed and caused the issue. All Exchange services were disabled. I had to reinstall the rollup to get it to work.
