  • Exchange 2007 Licensing.

    Hi,

I am planning a exchange 2007 migration from exchange 2003.
    I'm studying a SCC + SCR.
2 hub+CAS too with NLB from external relays.

For SCC and SCR i see that i need enterprise editions of Windows 2008 and Exchange (cluster requiements).

Need I adquire Exchange enterprise for licensing the 2 hub transports and cas servers?
If i add standard editions for hub servers, whats limits have i?

    TIA.

HUB doesn't need any high availability option, It manages itself by learning through AD links. However CAS needs NLB for HA. NLB is an option in all version of windows server. Really speaking CAS/HUB server doesn't need Enterprise. Only clustering functionality requires enterprise.
