    Hi,

    I must renew the SA root certification on my Exchange 2007 server. Why ??
    How can i dow that, ik look over the internet and try something, but when i use the website server certificate wizard, i have one option bij renew te certificatie and that is prepare the requeat now, but send it later. The option for sent immediately is gray. Can someone help me ?

    If you haven't replaced the certificate since the original installation of Exchange then the certificate expires after 12 months. Replacing the self generated certificate is documented on Technet. You do not use IIS to renew the certificate but PowerShell.

    However, the self generated certificate is not designed for long term use. What you should be doing is purchasing a SAN/UC certificate. I outlined the full process on my blog a few months ago.
