  • Add signature on outgoing messages

    Exchange Server 2007 SP1.

I have to automatically add signature on my AD users exchange/outlook messages when they are sent.

Reading on the web, it seems that it is not possible via standard administration tools but I should write some custom hub transport or what else?

I have developing skills so what is the right procedure to go ?

    Any help appreciated.

    Best regards.

You can do it with Transport Rules but for more flexibility, have a look at a 3rd party product like PolicyPatrol (others are available too)

It is all done through the GUI:

Re: Add signature on outgoing messages

I tried to follow article below, but I can only append a disclaimer to the e-mail and not dynamic information regarding users sending message.

Do I have to write my own custom transport rule ? Do you have some tutorial or info about where to start ?

      Regards.

No, dynamic information is not possible out of the box -- you would have to write a different rule per user.

IMHO pay for something else to do the job quicker and easier than you can write your own ones

Would recommend Exclaimer for this. It pulls fields straight out of AD and allows you to configure a range of rules.
