  • cross forest public folder move?

From what I have found so far, there is no tool to move public folders cross-forest like there is for mailboxes.

However, if I were to go through all the bother to set up a cross-forest configuration with trusts between the forest, connectors between the organizations, the proper permissions on the accounts in both forests, etc., could I set up the Exchange 2003 in one forest to replicate public folders to the Exchange 2007 in the other forest?

(If this will work, I will resist having to go through all of this just to move the public folders, but I need to know if it will work.)

Or, do you know of any easier way to do this. My current recommendation is to just recreate the folders in Exchange 2007. They are only being used for calendars right now.

You seen this for 2003? LINK Inter-Org Repl

If you don't have much it is easier to copy the PFs to a mailbox and them import them again / just create new ones.

Have a look through this too LINK

      Thanks for the quick reply.

Will the InterOrg Replication Tool be able to replicate to Exchange Server 2007?
So far I have only seen references to 2000 and 2003.
      Thanks.
