  • Mailbox creating problem for different AD user

    Hi,

I have below scenario and not able to create user's mailbox for diferent AD.

    Server 2003 R2 with sp2

    Root domain controller - xyz.com
    Child domain controller - a.xyz.com
    Child domain controller - b.xyz.com

I have exchange server installed with a.xyz.com and it is configure with CCR cluster.

Exchange server 2007 setup is as below.

    mailbox1.a.xyz.com -------- CCR Mailbox
    mailbox2.a.xyz.com -------- CCR mailbox
hubcas.a.xyz.com -------- Hub transport and Client access sevrer

Now I want to create mailbox for xyz.com domain user in existing exchange server but I dont find xyz.com domain in mailbox creation window.

So is it possible to create other domain user's mailbox in other domain

if yes then how is it possible?

Re: Mailbox creating problem for different AD user

    Hi,

I found "View all recipients in forest" option as below and also I upload screen shot for that.

Exchange Management Console > Recipient Configuration > Mailbox > New Mailbox > User Mailbox > Existing Users > Add > Scope > Modify Recipient Packer Scope > View all recipient in forest

But this option is disabled by default so how can it possible to enable.

If this option is enable then other AD user's mailbox is created in single Exchange server 2007.

Anyone has idea? please help to solve this asap.

      Cheerssssss.................

      I solve this problem.

      I found this option from
Exchange Management Console > Recipient Configuration > Actions (right click) > Modify Recipient Scope

      Now it works fine............
