  • automatic Forward emails

    Hi Guys,

can you configure automatic forward on emails from the exchange server?
i saw that you can but to local accounts within the domain, i want to forward emails on a few mailboxes for a period of time to external accounts not related to my domain, i tried the command from shell and it gave me an error, perhaps any1 can send me a good way to do that.
    Thanks & Regards

    Re: automatic Forward emails

It is just the same as with Exchange 2003. You cannot forward to an external address specifically. You have to create a mail enabled contact first, and then set the system to forward to that. The GUI is more straight forward than the shell.
