  • change SMTP address in Exchange 2007

    Hello,

We have installed an Exchange server in our test environment. Currently it has been set up with the email address of [email protected]. How can I change the default address to be [email protected] or even [email protected]? I don't see the Recipient Policy like in 2003.

    Thank you for your time.

    George

Open the user in Exchange ESM and view their email addresses. From memoryyYou can untick the box that allows the user to update according to the global settings then set another (or create) as primary (obviously if it is a valid address).

WOW, that wasn't obvious. Thanks! It's was nice of Microsoft to remove the set as default button.
