  • import mailbox not working

    Hi,
    i use Ex2K7 SP1 and i'm using the export-mailbox and import.
    the export admin mailbox was successfully so when i try the test and restore it to admin works good.
    the problem is when i try to restore the PST into a different mailbox i get an error message like this

    Error occurred in the step: Moving messages.
    Failed to copy messages to the destination
    mailbox store with error:
    MAPI or an unspecified service provider.
    ID no: 00000000-0000-00000000

    why?

    Check the PST isn't write protected. Are you running the x32 tools from a workstation or server? Has the machine already got Outlook or 2003 tools installed?
    Also, you need to make sure the account you are using has full access to the mailboxes and exchange. Try creating a new user with exchange org rights and see if that works as you may have a deny floating about.
