  • Send Connector Port

Hello, I'm just wondering whether anybody can help me with changing the port used for a smarthost smtp relay? The issue I'm having is that my ISP blocks port 25 and I need to hook into my relay provider with an alternate port. I'm not sure how to perform that in the Send Connector utility in Exchange Server 2007. It doesn't have an entry for port number. Just mailhost and login credentials. Any help with this would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

    Re: Send Connector Port

Just because you cannot see it in the GUI doesn't mean you cannot change it. As with many things in E2007 you have to use Powershell.
If you have already set up the Send Connector then you will need to use the set-connector command: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../aa998294.aspx
