  • Problems with IsDefaultGlobalAddressList

    Hi!

I have a problem related to the Default Global Address List. First of all I have migrated users from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. What I saw is that a default global addresslist didn't appear. So I used Exchange Management Shell and created a new GAL and called it Default Global Address List.

Then the problem. I used the command "Get-GlobalAddressList | format-list" and saw that "IsDefaultGlobalAddressList" was set to False. I have searched all over on the internet and I could not find anything on how to change the value False to True. Is there anyone who have a solution to this?

I presume that you have seen this Technet thread?

It would appear it isn't an a value that you set, but is based on another value not being present.
