  • exchange 2007 and active sync for PDA

    Hi,
i've exchange 2007 installed and running good(no edge server).
i want my PDA users to have the ability to sync there PDA through active sync over the internet.
do i need to configure anything else if i install exchange 2007 fresh with no changes whatsoever?
another question - from where a give my PDA users the certificate to install on the PDA?

    Thx

The SSL certificate will need to be exported to the device, unless you are a commercial SSL certificate that is trusted by Windows Mobile devices.

Otherwise you should set a Windows Mobile Policy, at least minimum set a password on the devices as that allows remote wipe to work.

You should also ensure that ActiveSync is enabled on the user account in EMC.
