  • Question: exchange2007 and 2 office locations

    Hello to all

    i need some advice here...

today i am using hosted exchange services at some-hosting-USA.location they are in the USA
and most of the mailbox users are in israel 90%.

i would like to install in the israel site exchange2007 for the users located in israel and for the users in the USA leave the hosted solution.

what is the recommended setup for something like this?

lets say my domain is abc.com for the example.
today my MX records point to abc.com at some-hosting-USA.location (hosted solution)

    requirements:
all user's e mail addresses stay [email protected]

i am sure ill have some errors in my plan...

    my plan:

change my MX to point to abc.com in israel.

change the domain name in the USA to something else like usa.abc.com

all mails that arrive at abc.com for users in the USA forward them to the usa.abc.com domain from israel.

till here any errors in my plan?

if the users at usa.abc.com send mails how do i make it look like [email protected] ?
    is it possible?

    thanks
