  • New Clients can't find exchange server

Exchange 2007, old clients connects ok.

New clients don't find the service, no matter what.

If I remove a client profile and try to set it up again, I get a message that the exchange server is unavailable.

    What can I do ?

These are the error I get: The Action counlt not be completed. The connection to teh Microsoft Exchange server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete.

Then I get another option to enter the server name (I can use either name or ip, I get the same results):
The name could not be resolved. and the rest of the above message.

If I open an old profile on the same computer, exchange is working and everything is ok.

    1. Are you using windows XP? if so, verify that you installed SP2 and the latest hotfixes.
    2. Did you check that the FW on the workstation is off?
    3. I know that the next article talks about RPC over HTTP, but I thing you should check it:
CNE 5, CCA, MCSE NT4.0-2003, MCSE 2003 messaging, Exchange Server MVP.
