  • Exchange 2007 - how to prepend the header of incoming email?

    Hello,

Is there a way to prepend the header of incoming emails with something like Ext or external?
More exactly, the header of any incoming emails sent by people from outside of the organization to be modified adding the Ext (from external) before the sender's name.

    Thanks.

Take a look at Transport Rules (under the Organization Configuration work center and Transport Rules). I think they will do this for you. Create a test rule and review the Actions list carefully as there are a lot of actions and it is easy to miss one.
