    Hi, We have Win 2003 sever, Exchange 2003 server. a user deleted mistake inbox in mailbox. I have yesterday backup (ntbackup). How can I restore from yesterday backup only this user inbox in mailbox?

    Deleted what exactly?
    A single message, the entire inbox?

    The first thing to do is check deleted items and deleted item recovery.
    If it was a single item that was hard deleted (ie shift delete was used) then there is a good chance that it might be in the dumpster.
    To use the dumpster for folders other than deleted items you need to make a registry change. That change is documented in this kb article:

    Don't worry about Outlook versions - it applies to them all.

    Once the change has been made, restart Outlook.
    Click on the Inbox and then choose Tools, Recover Deleted Items. Is the item you want there?

    If not, then you will need to use the backup. As you are on Exchange 2003, you can use the Recovery Storage Group.
