  • Exchange backup

My domain controller had suffered some hardware failures.
Hereís my post about the situation on dslreports.com

    http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,16597379

Now Iíve decided to do a complete network rebuild, I need to find a way to backup and restore exchange mailboxes. I have 5 users/workstations, what would be the best strategy to backup the mailboxes and restore it on a new windows server and exchange installation?

    Re: Exchange backup

Since Exchange is (I assume) running OK at the moment, the best way is tro move everything to outlook PST files, rebuild and then restore to the new mailboxes.

This is because of the small number of users (Least Administrative Effort).

Dont forget public folders as well!
