  • Relay through Exchange 2003 to filter spam

    Hi,

I have two domians personal.com and company.com. company.com receives mail into exchange and personal.com receives main into a web based account which I can change the mx records on. I us symantec premium antispam on the exchange server to filter virus and spam out of the company email. can I relay my personal.com through company.com back to the web (btw it is brinkster) account?

I am sure it can be done but I have never done it.

    Thanks

    Marc.

Sorry Marc, I cannot understand what you're asking, and more importantly, why do it.

      Daniel

I want to relay my personal email through my companies exchange server in order to filter the spam out of my personal email.

      Thanks

If you want to config your Exchange to receive mail for your personal domain and place it in your mailbox you need to follow this article:

        http://www.petri.com/configure_excha...er_domains.htm

Then you need to give your user account any email address specific for your personal domain.
