  • Running ExMerge.exe via command line

I am trying to script ExMerge.exe to run automatically for backup purposes.

I have configured everything and it works flawlessly through the GUI so I saved my config files.

When I try to run my script I get an error saying:

    C:\progra~1\exchsrvr\bin\exmerge.exe is not a valid win32 application.

After that it shows "Access Denied" in the cmd window.

I am logged on as the administrator
Server is windows 2000 running Exchange 2003

Below is a copy of the script I am using:
    c:\
    C:\PROGRA~1\Exchsrvr\bin\exmerge.exe -F C:\EXMERGE\EXMERGE.INI -B -D
    pause

I think I had a corrupted download the first time . I re-downloaded ExMerge.exe from Microsoft and all is working the way it should.
