  • Repartition shared disk

I have a Exchange 2003 cluster, active/passive. The 200GB shared disk is partitioned into 50GB parts, no good to me now (I inherited this).

I have room on the private disk on one node to temporarily move the databases/logs so i can repartition.

Once done, i can move the data back to the new partition.

Will Exchange allow me to move the data to a non shared disk on a cluster? I'm not looking to improve/worsen performance at this stage, just have a nice big disk.

    thanks
    Dave

    Re: Repartition shared disk

You need to use shared disk for the cluster. There no offical support methood to use the data on the local disks in this scanrio.
