      Re: request a certificate thawte

      ok now i get it

      the personal is free
      the web/exchange server cost money

correct me if im wrong but using anonymous 3rd party ca
will cause me to install for each client the 3rd party certificate

i would like to use an 3rd party certificate which is recognized to xp and ie.
do you know where can i obtain this for my exchange server?

if not, do you recommend to use startcom? i'm asking because i saw an article on msexchange.org which deals with ssl for owa configuration ang he uses this free 3rd party. the problem is , it isnot recognized by most of the browsers

      thanks

Is $70 for a certificate too high for your budget? Sometimes there are things in life that are worth spending money on.

          Re: request a certificate thawte

          hi,

I know 70$ isn't too much, but i was looking for something free just to test the security issue on owa and outlook.

never mind after looking for hours in your site and in the microsoft site , i found this step-by-step great article.

          http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/...rtificate.html

It should be placed in the top of the articles concerning this issue.

You mean like this one? It wasn't at the top but it was second from the top!
            1 1 was a racehorse.
            2 2 was 1 2.
            1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
            2 2 1 1 2
