    Hello

    i 've installed exchange 2003 standard edition
    one 2003 server

    i've 2 disks with 8 gb

    how to split the db, logs an etc?

    hoe many partitions?

    First, 8GB of free space on your disks isn't enough for a production server, unless you only keep 10 mailboxes on it and you don't care about disk redundancy and performance.

    Second thing - Standard edition only allows for one MBX store and up to 4 PF stores. I assume you will only use one of each.

    The best thing you could do is:

    Put your system on a Raid1 array (drive C: )
    Put the DB on a Raid5 array (drive D: )
    Put the logs on a Raid1 array (drive E: )

    If you only have 2 disks and that is not a production server, i'd put the system on disk0 and the DB+Logs on disk1.
