  • Password change using OWA

    Hi Everyone,

I am trying to get users to change their domain password using OWA password change option.

I have complex password policy enabled on the Domain.

If I change the password within the Domain it works fine, but if I try using OWA password option it errors out that password doesn’t meet the Domain policy requirement, knowing I just changed the password within the Domain.

I am I missing something or do I have to call Microsoft on this?

    thanks

      Re: Password change using OWA

      Hello,
What about "The minimum password age" for you default domain policy?
      Is it enabled?
It controls how often the password can be changed.
I think taht this issue is not caused by a missed configured OWA.

          Hi netxt,

Thanks for pointing out that policy to me. as you have said OWA was working fine.

after I adjusted the password policy age to 0, I was able to change password using OWA.

          Thank you again.
