  • Exchange 2000 routing question. HELP!!!

We are running 1- E2K Enterprise box in our organization. We have 4 mailbox stores.

Is there a good way to make 1 of the mailbox stores send messages out through a different SMTP connector?

There is one entity of our organization that will need to send mail out through an email encryption appliance for encrytion purposes. These folks are running on their own Store. They are the only ones who will need to use the encryption appliance as the last hop on our network.

Does anyone have any creative ideas on how I should configure this?

The other 3 stores will just continue to shoot mail out straight to the gateway.

You can create a new SMTP Connector to use the new relay server and setup “Delivery Restrictions” so
Only the require users can use this connector.

I don't see how you can grant access on a user/security group level. Any ideas? I just see how to restric based on IP.
