  • Weird Problem

I run SBS 2003 with Exchange and I'm running into some weird problems.
First, we have a customers email address going to a bunch of local users when we e-mail both of his accounts(outside emails).
I sent a test e-mail to his address and about 5 people called and told me they were getting emails sent to him.

now I noticed something strange when I went into my SBS 2003. I went to users and clicked on several users properties. When I click on the emails tab it usually has 3 listings. Primary SMTP, Local SMTP and MX. I have those but there are like 100 SMTP addresses listed with this guys domain.

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

    thank you,

    Re: Weird Problem

You mean to say this guy has 100 SMTP email addresses instead of the regular 2 or 3???

    Any other strange behavior?

Might the email address that you're sending to be a distribution group and not the user itself, as you think?
