Where can i get good help about installing Exchange

    Re: Exchange install

    Er... here...?

    Seriously,
read the installation guide (one of the options when you launch Exchange Setup and plan your installation well. Make sure your DCs are backed up as Exchange makes major changes to Active Directory and you may want to roll back. Its probably good to get your servers (assuming 2K3) patched to SP1 before you install Exchange.

Follow the "wizard" that takes you through about 10 steps and make sure you read the help and do all the tests at each step.

You should find it all goes smoothly but if you have specific questions, post them here.

btw, get Exchange 2003 SP1 downloaded and stick it on as soon as you have installed Exchange.

    Hope this helps

Do we have to guess or read your mind???

Ask a question, be precise, provide information, and we'll be glad to help. Otherwise, it's wasting both of our time.

It's your second thread I'm closing. Do it again and we'll say bye bye.
          Cheers,
