  • Password Changes via the web.

We were going to purchase a third party software to do this but if its built in why even bother. We need to grant users the ability to change passwords via the web. We do not really have a help desk. This seems to be an easy enough fix for that. However any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I was just reading this and would like to use the OWA password reset tool on our 2003 Ent Network.

Would we get an SSL certificate for the mail server or a better way of putting things will there be any difference in authenticating to the mail server. I plan on trying this ASAP possibly before the weekend is over.

    Thank you,

The mosy security way is to use at least to authentications process. One before connecting to the web server and one when you connect to the mail server.
Also, please install SSL Certificate on the mail server and consider using ISA 2004/2006 to publish the access to the OWA.
