  • RPC over HTTP

    Hello,

I have read DaniŽls topic about RPC over HTTP Single Server, but I can't get remotely to our server. Maybe the issue is because we don't host our own domain (we have a domain). The domain is hosted at our ISP so when we want to remotely connect we use the public IP address of our ADSL connection
Our Mail is delivered thru pop3 connectors in Exchange on the Domain Server.
Which credentials do we use to connect remotely to the exchange server?, normally it will be the fqdn of the exchange server but I think we have to use our public IP address of the ADSL connection but I don't know how?
Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Our Server is an Windows 2003 Small Business Server Standard Edition SP1
    Exchange is Exchange 2003 SP2
CliŽnts are Windows XP SP2 with Office 2003 Prof. SP2

    With best regards,

    Victor

Did you tried to create regular outlook profile and setup RPC over HTTP?

      Re: RPC over HTTP

      Hi Yuval,

Yes I did, thru configuration, e-mail in Windows Xp. Adding a account just like DaniŽl described.
