  • Message Tracking Center Server Selection

    Hi,

I have a problem that has just started to happen, i have message tracking turned on all servers when i go into the esm on any server and open message tracking center and go to select a server for searching, all the servers are in the search but when i select the server that is the front end server it will not add it in to the server field, it actually replaces it with the cluster server name instead, even if i edit the server field and type in the name of the front end server it changes it back to the cluster name when i click search. It all use to work fine till the other day any body got any suggestions.

    (Setup)
I have a two node cluster back end exchange 2003 Enterprise edition and a single front end Exchange 2003 Standard edition.

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give

Re: Message Tracking Center Server Selection

Did you enable Message Tracking on the Front server?
Did the all the require ports opened beetwen the front/back servers?
Did you checked the DNS settings?

Did the hotfix level in the front/backup server are the same? Did you tried to revoot the servers? Is there some error in the event log?
