  • Exchange 2003 SP2 - ActiveSync folder limits

    Server 2003 R2 SP2
    Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise SP2

Single user has setup Exchange ActiveSync on a Blackberry Z10 an keep running into issues with the syncing of his phone.

Syncing only the Inbox works perfectly but when we sync more than that it has a bit of a hissy fit.

Is there a limit to the number of messages that ActiveSync can sync?

Is there a limit to the number of folders that ActiveSync can sync?

The users mailbox is around the 5GB mark (CFO) so that will more than likely cause issues but if I can put some numbers in front of him to state that there are limits then he may, and I mean may, archive some email out.

I thought that as well but I have my Z10 working perfectly with folder syncs setup with the folders I require.

He has a good deal more that I do though hence I thought there was maybe some limit on ActiveSync.
