  • Mailbox not showing and not accessible

    We have a Win2K domain server and recently added a 2003 Server with Exchange SP2. I used the Exchange tasks on the new server to create Mailboxes for everyone and this worked fine except for one user.

    When checking the exchange tasks, it does look like the user has a mailbox, but when I go down the Exchange Server's MMC to Local Storage and Mailboxes, that particular user's mailbox does not exist.

    Subsequently I can not access it via Outlook nor OWA.

    Does anyone have a clue why that could be?

    I did try deleting the mailbox and exchange attribute from that user and then reinstating them but still no luck.

    The mailbox created in real only after getting email inside it. Please create a mailbox, wait 1-2 min., send it email and then try to open it.

      Yes, of course. That was it. Sent email and mailbox was indeed created.
