    hi

    is there a way to configure external email (sending and receving ) in local outlook, if yes. can let me know how.. maybe a pointer..

    allthough in the wrong forum you are...

    in Outlook Client you can define several profiles for each user and several e-mail accounts to each profile.

    if you don't have any firewall blocking and willing to take the risk of exposing your organization to mail which comes directly from the internet without any AV checks (except the workstation itself), you can very easly do so by defining a POP3 e-mail account within the user profile in outlook (under tools-> E-Mail acounts).

      oops... sorry my mistake. i wanna know how to configure it in local Exchange.. which is exchange 2003 and not in outlook.
