  • Exmerge for 2003 - PST file Capacity?

Does anyone know if Exmerge for 2003 can support the larger than 2GB file format like new Outlook 2003 Pst files??

I use Exmerge for nightly brick-level Mailbox Backups, as well as NTbackup Online backup but some of my clients mailboxes are getting close to 2GB.

    PS-
Id rather not enforce mailbox limits on the precious users

    Many thanks

This may help if you get an oversized PST failure. http://www.slipstick.com/problems/repair2gbpst.htm

        Thanks guys..
I wondered whether Exmerge had been upgraded to create the output pst files in the new Unicode format used in Outlook 2003?

But it seems it still just uses the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) format used in Outlook 2002.

        Thanks for the replies though.

As far as I know Exmerge will not be further upgraded, as it's supposed to be phased out in the future.

What is it going to be replaced with? or will it be a 3rd party tool you have to buy at £25.00 per user
