  • Exchange 2003 external mail

    Hi everybody,

    I need help ...

I have an Exchange 2003 on a Windows server 2003 , the internal mail works great but I'm trying to allow external mail from the Internet. The case is my local domain for the server is yy.com which I don't own actually, I have an internet domain called XX.com is it possible to link the internet domain to receive the mail and forward it to the exchange server with the same username e.g. if a message sent to [email protected] it will be forwarded to [email protected] in the local server.

    Sorry it looks complicated

    Thanks in advance,

Yes, you set up an address policy on the Exchange box to create xx.com addresses
for "accepted domain" (or try first hit below)
