  • OWA The Local Security Authority cannot be contacted

    Hi guys,

We just implemented a "log on to" restriction on all the users in the domain. But we have this problem accessing OWA outside the office (home/smartphone/blackberry). Users keep getting the local security auth error but works fine when accessed on their office workstations.

Are there any workarounds to exclude the logonto permission when users access their mails outside the office? I tried adding my mail domain and the exchange computer name but still i'm getting the error.

    Thanks

Adding the Exchange server/s to the list of the Log On to is the only way round this issue for OWA access. It can take a few hours after doing so before the change is fully effective.
