  • NDR Question

    Hello

windows server 2003 exchange server standard

I have been looking in the Application logs we are now recieving lots or errors saying a Non - delivery report with a status code 5.4.0 was gernatred for recipeint fpc822;[email protected]
Cause this messahe indicates a dns probelm or an IP address conf probelm.

We don't have any email address where the people are trying to sent to? Can this be set not send out ndr reports? or stop the errors showing in application logs

Worth activating Recipient Filtering on your Exchange 2003 server.

        Re: NDR Question

        HI

No messages in queue, I have recipient filtering turned on for recipents not in the directory.

Looking at the logs w3svc1 this happened again today at 06:55 event ID 3018, these are not in the logs?
